Learn These 8 Maintenance Techniques To Extend Your Car by 100,000 Kilometers.

The car is a good partner to work hard, because it will always stop there waiting for you, but the car is a consumable, whether it is a dignified and strong German car or a realistic Japanese car, there is a day of the end. In addition to maintaining good driving habits, you need to know some skills to "maintain your car", so today Senzeal Auto brings you some car knowledge.

1. Tire
Tires are rubber products. The car runs much more. The tires wear more quickly. In order to prolong the life of the tires and prevent
tire wear, the front and rear tires must be exchanged regularly. It is recommended to change every 10,000km. In addition, in addition to running wear, long-term stop and open will also aging cracks, so it is necessary to regularly observe the changes in the tires to avoid accidents caused by punctures.

2. Engine oil
The main function of the oil is to reduce the friction of the machine and help to dissipate heat, but it will evaporate when the engine starts, resulting in a reduction in the amount of oil that needs to be supplemented or periodically use the
manual oil extractor to replaced and to ensure that the oil is suitable for the car engine. If you don't drive a lot, the oil will also be emulsified over time, and it is recommended that you replace it in less than a year.

 3. Transmission oil
Whether it is an AT automatic transmission, an MT manual transmission, or even a CVT continuously variable transmission that the manufacturer claims to be "maintenance-free", the transmission oil will deteriorate over time, so the transmission oil must be replaced regularly. In addition, different gearboxes use different gearbox oils. If the car uses the wrong gearbox oil, it is likely to cause the gearbox to malfunction and require repair or replacement of the gearbox.

4. Power steering fluid
Power steering fluid (also known as steering oil) is used in the direction of hydraulic booster pumps, which help the car's steering wheel become lightweight. The power steering fluid volume must also be checked regularly, with a container labeled (Power Steering Fluid) in the engine compartment. If there is a problem with the power steering, the steering wheel will become heavy and make a strange noise. However, many new cars now use electric steering mechanisms, so you can avoid this step.

 5. Brake oil
The brake pads are not ground quickly. When the brakes are activated, abnormal noise will be emitted to remind the owner to replace them. However, the brake oil does not have a reminder function, so it must be checked regularly. There is a circle in the engine compartment with a circle in the brackets, and the lid that can be opened during inspection to check the liquid level. If you find that the brake oil is reduced, you need to add it properly. Brake oil will absorb water over time, and the oil and water will separate and cause the brake performance to decrease. Recommends replacing the brake oil every 40,000km to 60000km.

 6. Cooling fluid
When checking engine cooling water (also known as antifreeze/tank water), be sure to use a cold water supply. If the amount of coolant is insufficient, add an appropriate amount of coolant. Different cars also use different coolants, such as green, blue, red and other colors, and the best color is not mixed. Be sure to add antifreeze, do not add tap water, or it will cause corrosion to pipes, water tanks, etc., and it will be prone to high water temperature.

 7. Timing belt
The owner of the car needs to check the wear of the timing belt, which is usually replaced at around 100000km. Although the cost of replacing the timing belt is not cheap, if the aging is broken, the engine components may be damaged and a huge cost is required for maintenance.

8. Spark plug
The spark plug helps the current to ignite the mixed gas in the cylinder from the ignition system. If the owner finds that the car is not performing as usual, it is likely to be a spark plug problem, which will lead to an increase in fuel consumption and unstable engine idling. So you need to use the
Spark Plug Wrench to change the spark plug or use the Spark Plug Tester to check it. The Senzeal Auto recommends checking every 20,000 km.
